About Shunyam

SHUNYAM

“Live in Peace before Resting in Peace.”

That is the thought from which Shunyam was born.

In a world constantly asking us to do more, become more, consume more and prove more… peace has quietly become rare.

We chase success, productivity, experiences, validation and endless distractions hoping they will finally make us feel fulfilled. But somewhere in the middle of all that noise, many of us slowly lose connection with ourselves.

Shunyam was created as a gentle return to that connection.

A space inspired by timeless wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita, Yog, Upanishads and Meaningful lifestyles, not as philosophy, but as practical guidance for modern life.

A space to pause.
To reflect.
To breathe a little deeper.
To return to yourself.

Not as a platform for motivation or self-improvement overload. But as a slower, more conscious way of living.

Shunyam is a slow, meaningful space for those who are tired of constantly rushing through life and want to return to simplicity, awareness, depth and inner peace.

This is not a place to escape life. It is a place to live it more consciously.

Through reflections as writings, audio conversations & videos, Shunyam explores what it truly means to live a peaceful and meaningful life in the modern world.

Welcome to Shunyam.

Here, step into Shunyam - a quiet space for meaningful living, reflection and inner peace.

The Lifestylist

Hi, I’m Rani.

An engineer by qualification, a creative by heart and someone deeply drawn towards understanding life beyond achievements, titles and appearances.

For years, I followed my passion & worked as an interior designer and built a successful creative career. But somewhere along the journey, I realised that even after following my passion, something still felt incomplete.

That missing piece was purpose.

Life eventually pushed me into some of my darkest and most transformative phases - moments of confusion, emotional breakdowns, deep questioning and inner emptiness. And strangely, those difficult phases became the beginning of a completely different journey.

A journey inward.

Minimalism was one of the first things that changed me. Simplifying life slowly created space for clarity, awareness and silence.

But the biggest shift came when I started studying and living the Bhagavad Gita. What began as learning scripture slowly became a way of living. Over the years, the Gita helped me navigate some of life’s most painful and uncertain situations with greater steadiness, acceptance and peace.

And I felt peace like never before, not because life became perfect, but because my relationship with life changed.

And that is what eventually gave birth to Shunyam - a space that helps you live in peace before resting in peace.

Today, through writings, reflections and conversations, I simply share what has helped me live with a little more awareness, meaning and peace.

If something here resonates with you, stay for a while.

You are most welcome here.
